All About Jazz Reviews Melodies

Check out AllAboutJazz.com for a generous review of Melodies for Uncertain Robots. The website is a great resource for all things jazz.

On a totally unrelated note, some of you late-night tv watchers may be aware that NBC is going to be experiencing a changing of the guard this coming March. Jay Leno is retiring from the Tonight Show, with Conan O'Brien set to take his place, and Jimmy Fallon (random) will be taking over Conan's duties on Late Night. I never found Jimmy Fallon to be particularly funny, but I have to give the man props for his choice of musical accompaniment. Leno had Kevin Eubanks and the Tonight Show Band, Conan has Max Weinberg and the Max Weinberg Seven, and now, Fallon will have the Roots. A bit of a departure from the late-night band tradition, but very cool.
