R.I.P. Richard Wright

Pink Floyd keyboardist Richard Wright died of cancer yesterday. I had really hoped to have the opportunity to see this legendary band in concert during my lifetime, and after they reunited for the first time in over 20 years for a one-off at Live 8 a couple years back, it seemed possible. Wright penned the song "The Great Gig in the Sky" off the Dark Side of the Moon album (among many others), which definitely ranks on my short list of the most amazing songs ever.

In light of this news, now seems like the right time to announce that Paradigm will be performing the music of Pink Floyd for a special Halloween performance on Oct. 31. There will be lots of guests and other surprises, so be sure to keep an ear to the ground, as we'll be announcing the details very soon.
