Headliners Wrap-Up

What an absolutely fun show. Thanks to Bloom Street and Thirteenth Sun for partying with us. The Louisville basketball game hurt our attendance early on, but what can you do? It's a college city, and it's March Madness time, so that's way it goes down. Unfortunately, Bloom Street, who opened the show, got stuck with a somewhat meager crowd (sorry guys!), but those who made it out early heard them play a great set. Thirteenth Sun's set was also energetic and right in the pocket. I hadn't heard them for a while, and it was a treat. Thanks as well to everyone who came out after the game and got down. For me, it was one of the better gigs we've played recently in terms of that magical audience/band energy flow that can happen during a show. Here's what was played:

3/21/08 at Headliners (Louisville, KY)

Firefly
Blowin' Up
The Sleeptalkers
Laurette
Idioteque (Radiohead) -->
Crosseyed and Painless (Talking Heads)
Mourning Dancers
Littlejohn Island
Spun

That show was the best I've seen in recent memory! When are you guys playing Bonnaroo for christ's sake? Damn, Paradigm!
