Radiohead Tour Is Imminent

My musical world has pretty much revolved around Radiohead this week, as you can probably tell. To be fair, they're perhaps the biggest band in the world, so when they do stuff like release their new album online with a pay-what-you-want pricing scheme and announce their plans to tour a week later, you can't help but talk about it. And yes, by the way, I did say that they announced their plans for an international tour, starting in May 2008 and lasting "till the end of the year."

As a bit of a side note: I read somewhere (sorry, don't have a link offhand) that lots of people are downloading "pirated" versions Radiohead's new album from sources like BitTorrent and Limewire. Most of these versions end up being horribly transcoded, meaning that the audio quality is less than you would get if you downloaded it from Radiohead directly. These people are downloading second-rate copies of an album that's being offered free to begin with. This is further evidence to support my theory that individual people are generally intelligent, but people as a whole are very stupid. If you want to download it, go to Radiohead.com.
